My 2020 Goals.

I know December should be all about Christmas and all sorts of festivities, but now is usually the time I really start to think about what I have achieved this year (a lot!) and what my goals are for next year.

I have already purchased my 2020 diary and I am raring to go.

01. Read more

This is a biggie for me (and probably everyone else!). 2019 actually saw me pick up a book again, actually 5 books, and finish them! I used to read non stop but one abusive 6 year relationship later and I was really struggling to concentrate on anything at all. I am so grateful to be past that point in my life now and I hope my 'read' pile will be the proof of that. I have really surprised myself and read a couple of non fiction books too and have a couple more to crack the spines of.

02. Blog

I have been part of the blogging community sine 2015, so I'm no newbie, but I would like to whole heartedly make a real go of it this year. I sometimes vlog my days on Insta Stories (YouTube coming soon!) which I something I never had the confidence to do before, and it is actually a lot easier than I thought it would be.

03. Look after myself more

I have made it no secret that I have struggled with my gastrointestinal health the past couple of years. No, it's not stress. I am now seeing a hospital consultant and with a liver hemangioma under my belt I am hoping to have some resolution to it all soon. I have tried out the FODMAP diet but I have to admit the results were minimal. In 2020 I want to make sure I start some sort of regular, low impact exercise and see me introduce all the food I eliminated whilst trying this particular diet.

I would also like to see myself visit the hairdressers more, and just have a small pamper when I feel like I am letting myself slip.

04. Buy a car

This is probably my most important goal. Not only is it a lot of money, but it is also a lot of responsibility and expense. I work in transport and the people I witness on the roads everyday is enough to put me off driving ever again, but I am starting to realise it is kind of a necessary evil!

05. Be more organised

That's not to say I'm not terribly organised already, but I definitely fall short when it comes to some areas of 'life-min'. Silly things that I put off, like comparing prices and changing my cat insurance.

06. Visit New York at Christmas

This is a bit of a frivolous one, but I am hoping by this time next year I will be well enough for such a trip. I have been before, but if you know New York you will know that that just isn't enough!

07. Try botox

Yes, another  one. To be honest, I doubt I will pursue this one with much endeavour, but I am starting to feel like my 34 years are catching up with me! I'm not looking for a trout pout, just something to eradicate a few frown lines on my forehead! If anyone has any advice on this drop me a comment below!
