To me from me.

Please tell me that I am not the only one who buys themselves something for Christmas? I have done it for like, 7 years now and I love the extra treat which I guarantee know I will love.

Ok, I know this post is really late but I love Christmas!


There is definitely a theme of self care when it comes to these products which ties in with my goals for this year. I also like to buy myself practical things that I know I need rather than want... with perfume and earrings being the exception...

My main purchase was the Olivia Burton House of Huggies. I had seen a few bloggers had been gifted it and I absolutely adored the idea of interchangeable huggies. I went for yellow gold (not my usual) and they are such good quality, don't turn my ears green and look fab during the day, and night!

Philips Wake-Up Light Alarm Clock | I purchased this whilst it was on offer and because I was finding mornings so hard to deal with. Saying that, I never used to? I always considered myself an early bird rather than a night owl. I have used this a few times but have yet to notice a staggering difference!

Fjallraven Classic Kanken backpack | practical and stylish, need I ask for more? I actually decided a backpack would be perfect for work and my commute. It is big enough to hold everything including my lunch, and has enough pockets for all my other sundries. My hands are kept free for my much needed slurp of morning coffee from my flask and I no longer get the back ache associated with an overloaded tote. I went for grey because it was the most work appropriate colour, but I love them all and I found it so hard to choose!

GHD Glide Professional Hot Brush |  Again, another thing to try and make things flow easier and quicker when it comes to my morning routine. Like I said I'm really struggling in the mornings at the minute and I am ashamed to admit I don't always run a brush through my hair before dashing out the front door. I am hoping with this purchase will help towards achieving the goal I set myself at the beginning of the year to practice more self care especially when it comes to day 2 hair!
