What to watch on Netflix this weekend.

Ok, just a quick post from me if you are looking for some viewing recommendations for the cold, winter weekend ahead.

I love these posts for some inspiration.

01. Cheer

I absolutely loved this programme. It was such an insight into a sport I didn't know required so much talent and conditioning! I felt it went a bit slow in places and got a bit samey in the middle especially when they were having trouble nailing the pyramid, but absolutely riveting to watch.

02. Spinning Out

I was surprised how much I liked this series and I am secretly hoping for another season! Some parts of it were a little bit cheesy, as in the fake snow scenes, but it was so addictive.

03. Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez

This was definitely a slow burner and a little bit confusing at times but definitely worth the watch. I think the only negative was not learning about the crime straight away but having the story told during the trial. I had never heard of this case up until now and if you like watching real murder cases this is one for you.

04. The Witcher

If you read my blog post on what I am reading, watching and loving lately you will know I have already mentioned this series but I felt it definitely needed including in this list too. This is quite an in-depth watch and I found I could only watch one episode a day as it's really involved and there is a lot going on, but fantasy is my jam and I love it.

05. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

I have only watched season 1 as I am late to the party on this one, but I love the darker aspect of this series. Although, the fact that Salem doesn't talk is a bit of a sore spot for me, I think my love for the original series will never be beaten. Sorry Netflix!

06. Criminal

If you have been following me on Instagram stories you will see I have been really invested in Deadwater Fell and White House Farm. Criminal is very similar in genre and the cast is just outrageous. It's definitely worth the watch especially if you enjoy crime dramas as much as me.

07. Impractical Jokers

Netflix have just released 3 new seasons that are giving me LIFE at the minute. Honestly, this programme never fails to cheer me up and pull me out of a terrible mood.

08. Miss Americana

I'm not a massive Taylor Swift fan by any stretch of the imagination but I found this documentary so interesting and insightful. It's definitely worth the watch, even if you're not a Swifty.

09. The Stranger

This is confusing to say the least. Honestly? I didn't know what was happening most of the time but still a gripping watch even if it did kinda over complicate and lose the plot halfway through!

And that's it! Let me know in the comments what you have been watching and enjoying lately. I am also incredibly excited to be able to watch Ghibli movies for the first time not on DVD. I read Netflix are staggering the content which should give me plenty of time to watch them all!
