My advent calendar swag.

I actually nearly went 2019 without an advent calendar. To be honest, I am pretty useless at them. I either forget about them, or just can't wait. There is no middle ground with me when it comes to advents!


That is until now.


I think the Glamour x Boots Premium Beauty Advent Calendar has been my favourite calendar EVER. I actually waited until a couple of days into December before purchasing it as it came with a little bit of money off.

It came with 24 amazing goodies (listed below) but without making this blog post too insanely long I thought I would just talk about my favourite bits. I have tried to limit these products to ones I have never tried before as everyone will know I have a deep, unwavering love for things like Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and Benefit's Hoola Bronzer.

Liz Earle Superskin Superlip Balm

I was so glad to get something to help me out with my sore, chapped lips this winter and this really did the trick. The texture feels the very same as Dr. Lipp and after applying it before bed one night my lips were practically healed.

Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in Thicc

This shade and product is just absolutely perfect. I believe this shade is so universal and would go with any skin tone if you were looking for a 'your lips but better' colour. It's staying power is amazing too, and even as a mini it looks beautiful with its rose gold packaging. It was so comfortable to wear, even for a matte shade that I often forgot I was wearing it.

Lancôme Tonique Confort

I love a good skin tonic, I am an avid believer in double cleansing and this is gentle enough to use just to give my skin that extra boost, especially during these colder months.

Too Cool For School Egg Mellow Cream

I have never tried this brand before even though I have wanted to for literally years! I have been using this as a before bed moisturiser, although I have been topping up around my eyes with a separate eye cream just because I feel it is better suited as a more general moisturiser than something that targets lines and wrinkles.

Becca Backlight Priming Filter

I love this primer. I am usually reaching for a mattifying primer as my combination skin is often hard to control with anything but. However, with winter drying my skin out something chronic and it looking dull most days this has been an absolute peachy lifesaver.
